Privacy Policy
This is the personal portfolio of Biswajeet Kumar, an individual based in Patna, India. I am the data fiduciary for the little personal data this site handles. This page says what is collected, why, who else processes it, and how to have it removed.
The short version
- The site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or cross-site tracking.
- Anonymous, aggregated page-view statistics are collected through Vercel Web Analytics.
- If you use the contact form, your name, email and message reach me through Formspree.
- I never sell or share your data for marketing.
What is collected, and why

Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies. According to Vercel, visitors are counted with a hash of the request that changes every day, so a visitor cannot be followed from one day to the next, and I see only totals.
The legal basis is your consent, given by visiting the site or by choosing to send a message, and my legitimate need to keep the site running and secure.
Who else processes it
- Vercel Inc. (United States) hosts the site and provides the analytics. Vercel privacy policy.
- Formspree (United States) receives contact-form submissions and forwards them to me. Formspree privacy policy.
- Google serves the fonts. Google Fonts privacy FAQ.
These services may process data outside India. Links on this site to GitHub, LinkedIn and other sites are governed by those sites' own policies once you follow them.
How long it is kept
- Contact messages: as long as needed to reply and follow up on the conversation, then deleted. Ask, and I will delete yours sooner.
- Analytics: aggregated totals, kept as long as Vercel retains them for this project.
- Server logs: as long as Vercel retains them under its own policy.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and similar laws elsewhere, you can ask to:
- see what personal data I hold about you;
- correct or complete it;
- have it erased, or withdraw consent you gave (for example, to my keeping your message);
- nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf;
- have a complaint about how your data was handled addressed.
Email thisisbiswajeetkumar@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy request". I will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with my answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India, or to the data protection authority where you live.
Children
This site is meant for recruiters, employers and collaborators. It is not directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. Contact messages are stored in Formspree's dashboard and in my email account, both protected by two-step login.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page.
